Orcas reportedly eating tuna offshore Hatteras

Something I've never scene nor heard of.

Apparently Orcas are chewing on the large schools of tuna off of Cape Hatteras.

The long awaited April first opening of most bottom fishing is fast approaching. Hopefully the SAMFC will not pull any "April Fools Jokes". Everything except American Reds and Black Sea Bass will be open. Be sure and check the new guidelines and limits though.

Closures abound on the Hatteras Beaches. The Point in Hatteras and South Point Ocracoke were closed off to people last week as there were the un-popular, not endangered plovers looking for food.

Fishing here in the SENC should begin to get really good soon...As soon as some weather breaks and people can get out.
